There was plenty of excitement as our Year 6 children threw themselves into a wide range of outdoor activities, including Laser Quest, climbing, raft building, orienteering and archery. Each challenge encouraged them to work together, think creatively and support one another, showing just how ready they were to embrace new experiences.

Our young explorers showed great determination and courage, particularly on the giant swing, where many pushed themselves beyond their comfort zones. Throughout every activity, pupils demonstrated excellent teamwork and enthusiasm, celebrating each other’s successes and offering encouragement along the way.

Respect for staff, instructors and peers was evident throughout the experience. Children listened carefully, followed instructions clearly and waited patiently for their turn, highlighting how respectful they are both in and out of the classroom.

After busy days full of challenge and achievement, pupils enjoyed delicious meals together and relaxed around the campfire, sharing stories and reflecting on their adventures. They continued to act responsibly, looking after their belongings, their friends and the environment.

Our Year 6 residential has been filled with memorable moments, laughter and personal achievement. More photos and updates from each group will be shared soon when there’s more daylight to capture all the fun!
